Ullinish House was built in 1757 for the MacLeods of Ullinish.

Originally a farmhouse, it was created as the marital home of Sheriff Alexander MacLeod, where it has proudly stood ever since, overlooking the dramatic and stunning Cuillin Mountain range.

These views have inspired generations of visitors and remain one of the house's most treasured features.

Through careful extensions, it has evolved into the striking Ullinish House you see today.

We invite all of our guests staying at Ullinish House to use our lounge and breakfast room downstairs.

Where you can enjoy your breakfast or have time to unwind after a day exploring Skye.

Settle by the fire, play a board game, savour a quiet drink, or simply relax and take in the atmosphere.

  • Please note we don't serve evening meals or drinks but feel free to bring your own drinks to the lounge. You will receive all information about places to eat and visit on your confirmation email after booking.
